International Religious Freedom

ADL is concerned about continuing violations of freedom of religion and belief abroad such as those evidenced against the Bahai, and other communities.  We welcome U.S. efforts to make it a central part of American foreign policy through mechanisms such as the International Religious Freedom Act and urge continued support for these efforts.  We have also been closely engaged in ensuring that the US asylum system helps America stay true to its tradition of being a haven for victims of religious and other forms of persecution.
