Christian "Indulgences" Web Page A Hoax Thursday, April 28, 2005

The Anti-Defamation League has received many e-mails expressing concern about a page on The Christian Broadcasting Network's Web site purporting to seek contributions for "Online Indulgences." The page lists various "sins" and recommended amounts of money required to absolve oneself of that sin.

A link to this page has been widely forwarded in e-mails.  ADL has determined that the page is an elaborate hoax, designed to mislead people and besmirch the CBN ministry.
