False Rumor About Former German Chancellor Kohl Thursday, March 09, 2006

ADL has received requests for clarification on a story alleging that former German Chancellor Dr. Helmut Kohl had agreed with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Holocaust denial.

This rumor, supposedly reported in an Iranian newspaper and distributed on the Internet, is false and was strongly denied by the former Chancellor's office.
