Today’s youth require school environments that promote respect, inclusiveness and civility. This work is at the heart of A CLASSROOM OF DIFFERENCE™. We offer a variety of training programs for pre-K through 12th grade school communities - educators, administrators, youth and families - which focus on the development of an inclusive culture and respectful school climate by addressing issues of bias and bullying.
As a leading provider of anti-bias education, the ADL's A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute provides customizable, interactive training programs that incorporate the latest research from the education field and are used by schools, universities, corporations, law enforcement agencies, and community organizations throughout the United States and abroad.
ADL is excited to partner and provide expertise on MTV’s newest, multi-year social action campaign Look Different. Look Different empowers America’s youth to better counter the hidden racial, gender and anti-LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) biases all around us. The campaign includes thought-provoking content and specific ways that youth can address bias in their life.
Classroom conversations about understanding and respect should not be limited to a commemorative event, or other special programs, holidays or activities but instead, should be a part of everyday classroom practice. A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute offers many resources to assist educators in bringing anti-bias education into the classroom every day.
