Using Testimonies for Researching and Teaching about the Holocaust
On Testimonies Taped after World War II, in 1946
In 1946, Dr. David Boder interviewed survivors in the displaced persons' camps. These interviews were recorded in a 16-volume set of transcripts that detailed the first hand accounts by these survivors. These taped interviews and the transcriptions are being integrated on a website by the Illinois Institute of Technology and will be available on line.
