Installing ADL HateFilter^® on Your Computer

The file you have just downloaded needs to be installed on your computer in order for ADL HateFilter^® to work.

Preparing to Install

• If you are currently using any other filtering software package, uninstall it and restart your computer.



• Close as many Windows as possible.

Installing the Program

• Open Windows Explorer. Go to the location where you saved the ADL HateFilter^® file you just downloaded. Double-click that file. The installation procedure will start automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions. When the program is installed, be sure to read the ReadMe file.

		-- Important -- If you choose to uninstall ADL HateFilter® at any point, you MUST use the Uninstall function that accompanies the program. Do not simply erase the program files or folder. The Uninstall function can be accessed in the folder where ADL HateFilter® has been installed (usually, it can be found at C:\Program Files\ICRAfilter\uninstall.exe)

Once you have installed the program on the computer, proceed to step three - setting up ADL Hate Filter^®. This will allow you to configure ADL HateFilter^® so it works the way you want it to.
