The World Evangelical Alliance, an international evangelical group, has issued a so-called "Berlin Declaration" call to target European Jewry for conversion. ADL called the move "a serious affront to the Jewish people and disrespectful to Judaism’s own teachings."
Catholic Catechism Change Troubles ADL
After U.S. bishops voted this summer to delete a reference to the covenant between God and Moses in the "United States Catholic Catechism for Adults," some Jewish leaders found the change perplexing. "Why take a very simple sentence and replace it with a very complicated paragraph?,” asked Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director.
