New Black Panther Party Chief of Staff Hashim Nzinga said Jews had foreknowledge of the September 11 terrorist attacks during his appearance on FOX's Hannity & Colmes program on September 19, 2005.

Nzinga, who appeared on the program to discuss Louis Farrakhan's claim that the New Orleans levees were blown up to sacrifice black neighborhoods in favor of white ones, was asked by host Sean Hannity if he thought that Jews knew about the September 11 terrorists attacks ahead of time.  "Sir, you know and I know, the world knows that now," Nzinga answered.  Nzinga was then asked the same question two more times and twice confirmed his original answer.

Nzinga has been involved in organizing events for Farrakhan's Millions More Movement and march.  During an August event in support of the march at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, Nzinga said, "We have to show the world that the Nation of Islam and the New Black Panther Party can work together and forget about our differences."

Malik Zulu Shabazz, National Chairman of the New Black Panthers, and co-convener of the Farrakhan's upcoming Million Man March, has himself made similar claims about Jews and the September 11 attacks.  For example, at a July 2003 press conference in Morristown, New Jersey, Shabazz said: "If 3,000 people perished in the World Trade Center attacks and the Jewish population is 10 percent, you show me records of 300 Jewish people dying in the World Trade Center…We're daring anyone to dispute its truth. They got their people out."

Shabazz also blamed the September 11 attacks on Jews during a three-hour meeting in October 2001 with "Muslims for Truth and Justice" (an apparent ad hoc coalition of several American Muslim organizations) at the National Press Club, which was broadcast on C-SPAN.  Amir Muhammad, an officer with the New Black Panthers, reiterated Shabazz's remarks at the conference: "There are reports that as many as 3,000 to 5,000 so-called Jews did not go to work [at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon] that day, and we need to take a serious look at that."

Nzinga's tenure with the New Black Panthers can be traced back to 1994, when he met former Panther leader Kallid Muhammad.  At that time, Nzinga became Muhammad's personal assistant, according to the New Black Panthers Web site.  Muhammad later appointed Nzinga Chief of Staff.
