The New Black Panther Party, the largest organized anti-Semitic and racist black militant group in America, held a rally in Queens, New York, which included calls for violence against New York City Police.

Demonstrators gathered in front of the 103^rd precinct on December 2, 2006, to protest an incident in November where three men were shot about 50 times by police.  One of the men was killed.    

During the rally, Malik Zulu Shabazz, New Black Panther Party chairman, pointed at police, promising revenge for any more shootings. "We will kill you!" Shabazz said.  In addition to other members of the New Black Panther Party, Shabazz was joined by the Bloods and Crips street gangs.  "We didn't come here to start any violence…The New York police started the violence," Shabazz said. 

Chants at the rally included, "Fifty shots! Fifty cops!" and "Kill the pigs who kill our kids!" and among the signs were, "Death to the Pigs Who Kill Our Kids" and "Shoot back."  Some demonstrators taunted police, standing in front of them and daring them to lay a hand on them.

The New Black Panther Party's National Youth Minister, Divine Allah, said the signs were inspired by individual protesters. "Most of the signs that were out there, this is what the community feels in their heart," he said.

The New Black Panther Party has a long history of threatening violence action to achieve their aims.  For example, in a May 2004 rally outside of police headquarters in Dallas protesting racial profiling and police brutality, Malik Zulu Shabazz said, "We may have to go get the shotguns…I don't think they are taking us seriously."
