David Duke's Prison Activities
Posted: November 10, 2003
Since his incarceration in a low-security prison in Big Spring, Texas, on April 15, 2003, Duke has been writing letters to right-wing newsletters and magazines expressing contempt for the U.S. federal government, Israel and Jews and other minorities, and promoting his book Jewish Supremacism. In letters published on far-right Web sites like overthrow.com and the World Gentile Congress, Duke describes his "90% non-European American prison" as a "dark, alien sea" and a "zoo," and alleges that the enemies of the white race are "committing an ongoing genocide against us." His EURO (European American Unity and Rights Organization) Web site posts press releases and third-party editorials opposing Israel and the war in Iraq. Duke claims that he is working on a new book "meant to drive our people to courage and activism," and that he plans to resume his activism on behalf of the white race when he leaves prison, which may occur as early as May 2004.
