Skinhead Arrested In Chicago on Weapon and Drug Charges
Posted: March 10, 2004
Federal law enforcement officials in Chicago revealed recently the January arrest of a neo-Nazi skinhead, Bulent "Billy" Arseven, and two others for allegedly attempting to buy automatic weapons with drugs.
Arseven, 21, allegedly tried to purchase a fully automatic machine gun, an automatic Tec-9, and several other weapons with cocaine and cash from an undercover ATF agent in a hotel room in Schaumburg. He has been charged with possession of a machine gun and delivery of a controlled substance.
Frankie C. Pizzo, 21, reputed to be a member of the Cicero-based street gang known as the Two-Two Boys, and Jeremy D. Bellen, 20, were also arrested and face drug charges. The four month investigation that led to the sting operation involved agents from the ATF, Hoffman Estates Police Department and the West Chicago Police Department.
Thomas Ahern, an ATF special agent, has been quoted as saying that Arseven "boasted that he was a member of the Aryan Brotherhood, " a violent racist prison gang, and admits to being a member of the Arizona Hammerskins, a regional chapter of the Hammerskin Nation, a violent white supremacist skinhead group.
During a raid of Arseven's home, authorities reportedly found white supremacist literature and a sizeable amount of ammunition. Arseven is also reported to have several white supremacist tattoos on his body, including an Iron Cross and codes that refer to Adolph Hitler.
