Pamphlets bearing anti-Semitic and racist messages were found scattered on driveways in a residential neighborhood in Old Lyme, Conn., including fliers from the virulently anti-Semitic hate group World Church of the Creator.

Similar pamphlets and fliers have recently appeared in other neighborhoods. ADL, which has traced an increase in the distribution of hate literature in Connecticut over the last few months, was urging residents to contact its Connecticut Regional Office to report any incidents involving hate pamphleteering.

Matt Hale, leader of the World Church of the Creator, has spoken twice recently in nearby Wallingford, prompting concerns about increased the activities of hate groups in Connecticut. Among other messages, the anti-Semitic fliers from Hale's group call for the U.S. to cut off foreign aid to Israel.
