Mar 18, 2008 Yemen The Yemen Soldiers Brigades, an Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group in Yemen, claimed responsibility for a failed mortar attack against the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa that killed a security guard, a schoolgirl and wounded 19 others.
Mar 11, 2008 Pakistan Two bombs exploded at the regional office of the Federal Investigation Agency in Lahore, killing at least 24 people and wounding at least 170 others.
Mar 4, 2008 Pakistan Two suicide bombers killed at least four people and injured 16 other in an attack at the Pakistani Navy War College in Lahore.

Mar 26, 2008 Mauritania Haround Ould Habib was sentenced to five years in prison for his alleged affiliation with Al Qaeda in Islamic North Africa.
Mar 10, 2008 United Kingdom Khalid Khaliq pleaded guilty in a London court to possessing an Al Qaeda manual, and two other terrorist manuals, in violation of the nation’s anti-terrorism law, and was sentenced to 16 months in prison. Khaliq was originally arrested in connection with the investigation into the July 2005 London subway bombings.
Mar 7, 2008 United Kingdom Mohammed Hamid, from east London, was sentenced by a London court to over seven years in prison for setting up Al Qaeda-style training camps at Baysbrown Farm, in the Cumbria county of North West England.
