James Wenneker Von Brunn, the suspect in the shootings at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C., is a long-time neo-Nazi and white supremacist who has vehemently expressed his anti-Semitic and racist views for decades—and sometimes acted on them as well. Von Brunn, 88, was a peripheral but well-respected figure among American white supremacists.
