The Presbyterian Church (USA) adopted a resolution calling for a more even-handed approach toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Delegates at the Church's recent biennial meeting in San Jose, California voted that the Church should not "over-identify with the realities of the Israelis or Palestinians" and called on members, congregations, committees and other entities "to become nonpartisan advocates for peace."
