Jerusalem, May 8, 2008 … The Anti-Defamation League's Israel Office delivered a presentation on global anti-Semitism to nearly 120 Israeli officers as part of an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) educational program.
The servicemen and women gathered at a training base in Netanya to discuss and learn more about manifestations of contemporary anti-Semitism from ADL experts and print reports.
ADL's Anti-Semitism Today presentation includes video clips, Arab media cartoons and other visuals and gives an overview of the history of anti-Semitism and an up-to-date perspective on the state of anti-Semitism around the world.
The officers had recently returned from Poland, where they visited as part of the IDF's program, "Witness in Uniform," which brings Israel's officers and soldiers to the site of former Nazi concentration camps and other sites associated with the Holocaust.
