ADL Encourages Donations to
Tsunami Relief Efforts

The devastating tsunami affecting large parts of South Asia is one of the worst natural disasters in recent history. In Sri Lanka, southern India, Sumatra, Thailand, Bangladesh, Burma, Malaysia and the Maldives, the tsunami has caused mass loss of life and untold devastation.

The Anti-Defamation League, a member of the Jewish Coalition for Asian Tsunami Relief, is encouraging donations to help fund the massive emergency relief efforts already underway, and is urging contributions to the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), which has set up a special emergency mailbox to collect funds for relief efforts.

Funds raised will help various agencies on the ground supplying the hundreds of thousands of people who have been left homeless due to flooding and structural damage.
