ABOUT THIS REGIONAL OFFICE
The New York Regional Office focuses on combating anti-Semitism and bigotry in the five boroughs of NYC, Westchester and Long Island. This work is especially relevant in New York City where so many different cultures and communities live side-by-side. In carrying out ADL's mission, we field discrimination complaints from individuals and train law enforcement officials on hate crime issues.
From early childhood through college and even the work place, the New York Regional Office runs a number of educational programs emphasizing various approaches to diversity. Our small satellite office in Albany delivers these programs in the capital region.
We work actively with key ethnic and religious communities in New York, and maintain a full international affairs agenda which includes meetings with missions to the United Nations and the many foreign consulates in New York City. The New York Regional Board of over 140 members, various committee members, volunteers and educational professionals, regularly work with us to carry out our mission.
