Steps to Becoming a No Place for Hate® School

1. Complete and submit the Intent Form.

 

2. Sign the Resolution of Respect.

Have faculty/student body sign Resolution of Respect and complete and submit Resolution of Respect Fulfillment Form.

3. Create a coalition

Suggested coalition members include:

  • school faculty
• staff members
• administrators
• parents
• community leaders
• youth organization leaders

Complete and submit a copy of the Coalition Fulfillment Form.

4. Complete three anti-bias activities by April 15.

These can be activities from the “In Your School” section of the No Place for Hate® Resource Guide.)

5. When you have completed an activity:

  • Complete and submit one Activity Fulfillment Form for each activity.
• Collect any supplemental materials (press releases, articles, photos, videos, etc.) We will contact you later about getting your supplemental materials.

After all five steps have been completed, paperwork submitted and reviewed, you will be
notified when your submission has been approved.

6. Congratulations! You have completed all five steps!

When you have been approved:

  • You will be contacted by the ADL.
• Your school will be publicly declared No Place for Hate®.
• Your school will receive a No Place for Hate® banner.
