The Anti-Defamation League, in partnership with the We Are Family Foundation (WAFF), is pleased to announce the release of We Are Family: A Musical Message for All.

The voices of more than 100 beloved television characters – singing together for the first time – combine for a rendition of the popular song “We Are Family,” helping children learn about different kinds of families and the importance of appreciating cultural diversity. During the week of March 7, thanks to the generous support of FedEx, the Toni Mendez Shapiro Estate and private donors, more than 61,000 DVD packages will be delivered – free of charge – to every elementary public school district and NAIS-accredited private elementary school in the United States.

Each DVD package includes an accompanying discussion guide, developed by ADL’s Miller Early Childhood Initiative of A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute for use in preschool and primary grade classrooms. WAFF is a non-profit organization formed in response to the events of September 11, 2001, whose mission is to foster the vision of a global family.
