ADL Releases New Report on Anti-Semitism Featured on Iran’s English-Language Press TV

  • October 10, 2012

While Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad may no longer be in New York, his hateful messages continue to be spread in the U.S. and around the world through Iran’s official English-language propaganda network, Press TV.

ADL has released a new report titled Iran's Press TV: Broadcasting Anti-Semitism to the English Speaking World which analyzes the network as “one of the world’s leading dispensers of conspiratorial anti-Semitism in English” and exposes the American anti-Semites, conspiracy theorists and Holocaust deniers who are misleadingly presented on Press TV’s programming as serious and credible experts.

Among those who have appeared on Press TV are American anti-Semite and racist David Duke; Imam Abdul Alim Musa, head of the Masjid Al Islam Mosque in Washington, D.C., who is affiliated with the anti-Semitic Sabiqun movement; Mark Glenn, a virulently anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist; and Gordon Duff, Senior Editor of the conspiracy-oriented website Veterans Today that alleges, for example, that Israelis and Jewish members of the Bush administration carried out the 9/11 attacks as a "false flag" operation to provoke war.

The report also highlights some of the hateful content featured on Press TV so far in 2012 including bogus allegations of Zionist control over world events, “Israeli Lobby” control of the American government, excessive Jewish/Zionist influence as a result of disproportionate wealth, and Jews and Israel secretly being behind a number of “false flag” operations.
