Holocaust Denial Movement Welcomes New Eric Hunt Film

Eric Hunt, a Holocaust denier known for attacking Nobel Peace Prize winner Elie Wiesel, released a new Holocaust denial film on May 11 titled The Treblinka Archaeology Hoax.

Hunt’s new film, available on YouTube, is a supposed “debunking” of the documentary Treblinka: Hitler’s Killing Machine, which aired on the Smithsonian Channel in the U.S. and Channel 5 in the UK.

In The Treblinka Archaeology Hoax, Hunt uses clips of Holocaust survivors’ testimonies from the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education (established by Steven Spielberg in 1994) to make his claim that gas chambers at Treblinka and Majdanek, two camps Hunt visited in making his film, were not used to systematically kill Jews but rather were used as “life-saving shower rooms.”

Hunt similarly used such clips from survivors in his previous films, including The Jewish Gas Chamber Hoax, which created buzz within the Holocaust denial movement in March. He describes the USC Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education as a “treasure trove for revisionists.”

Hunt promoted his film on the April 27 episode of Spingola Speaks, an online radio program hosted by anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist Deanna Spingola. Hunt elaborated on claims he presented in The Treblinka Archaeology Hoax, stating that the Holocaust is “a blatant hoax…a damned dirty hoax; it’s a big lie.”

While Hunt claims the Holocaust is a “hoax,” he describes the death camps as “work camps” where the Jews got what they deserved. Hunt states that the Jews in the camps “were living off interest rates, usury, etc. and if you read Mein Kampf, of course, basically Hitler said that they should be working. They shouldn’t be living off people they’re scamming.”

In the interview, Hunt also calls for action against “the Holocaust industry,” stating, “I don’t understand why we don’t sue some of them. Why don’t we bring them to court and have them stand trial, have them explain themselves?” He claims he has “actually sued Spielberg over his Holocaust lies.” Hunt also asks listeners to contact Caroline Sturdy Colls, the forensic archeologist who appears in Treblinka: Hitler’s Killing Machine, and to “hold her accountable for her hoaxing.”

In both The Treblinka Archaeology Hoax and in his interview with Spingola, Hunt alleges the supposed Jewish-controlled media has manipulated public opinion to believe in the Holocaust hoax as part of a larger conspiracy. Hunt also said that his next “documentary” will likely focus on this alleged Jewish control of the media and will “blow the lid off of this Jewish Hollywood mafia involved in a lot of this propaganda.”
