Nazi Low Riders Arrested in California

  • April 23, 2008

Police in Redlands, California, arrested four men linked to the Nazi Low Riders (NLR), a racist prison gang, on gun, drugs and weapons charges, with gang enhancements.

The arrests stem from a call received by the Redlands Police Department on March 21, 2008, reporting a man holding a firearm and screaming "Nazi Low Riders!" The police were given the description of a pickup truck leaving the scene with four men inside.

When investigating officers stopped a truck matching the description, they allegedly discovered a loaded .32 caliber handgun, a loaded assault rifle, and what appeared to be three grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle. Police arrested the four men inside- Michael Huffstutler, 42, Steven Holt, 34, Brian Gaal, 30, and Willis Potter, 20.

Holt is a documented member of the Nazi Low Riders and has numerous white supremacist tattoos. The three other suspects are believed to be NLR associates. Nazi Low Rider members have been heavily involved in narcotics trafficking, extortion, and armed robbery.

All of the suspects have prior criminal convictions.
