A white supremacist allegedly stabbed his African-American co-worker in Liberty, Missouri, on October 29, 2005. Authorities have described the incident, which occurred at a publishing company, as a racially motivated attack.

Edward Hubbard, 31, told police that he attacked his 50-year-old co-worker because of his race, according to court records. He has been charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

The victim was stabbed in the back, neck and ear with a screwdriver, but was not seriously injured.  Other employees had to pull Hubbard off his victim, according to police.

Hubbard has white supremacist symbols tattooed on his body, including a swastika on his chest.
