Letters to the Editor
The New York Times
To the Editor:
On a day when a cease-fire proposal was presented which could potentially bring a halt to the violence between Israel and Hamas, you inexplicably chose to run a front-page story at the top about the murder of a Palestinian boy two weeks ago. (“A Boy Set Ablaze: Details Emerging in A Revenge Case,” July 15).
Considering that the Times already had two front-page stories on the murder, choosing this again as your top story and relegating the far more significant cease-fire story to inside the paper reflects what appears to be a bias toward harping on what’s wrong with Israel.
