Unheard Voices: Stories of LGBT History

ADL, GLSEN and StoryCorps collaborated to create Unheard Voices, an oral history and curriculum project that will help educators to integrate LGBT history, people and issues into their instructional programs.

David Wilson and his partner, Rob Compton, were two of the plaintiffs in Goodridge v. Department of Public Healththe landmark state appellate court case in Massachusetts that awarded marriage equality to same-sex couples in the state.

Ten years before the lawsuit, David Wilson was living with his first partner, Ronald Loso, outside of Boston, until November 29, 1994. At Storycorps, Wilson remembers that day.
