Sheri Klein has been with the Advertising Council since 2005. She is currently responsible for leading a cross-functional team that produces and manages public service campaigns including bullying prevention, youth suicide prevention and, the award winning, Love Has No Labels campaign. A sociologist in training (and at heart), Sheri has been involved in over 25 public service campaigns including campaigns that address issues surrounding equality and social justice, education access and success and mental health. Her passion and expertise in communicating around social causes are fundamentally grounded in her dedication to understanding and representing the audiences they serve.
Prior to working at the Ad Council, Sheri conducted education policy research for Westat, a social research firm in Rockville, MD. She also spent one year volunteering for AmeriCorps*NCCC where she worked on several community service projects in the areas of education, public safety and the environment. Sheri holds a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. in Sociology from American University.
