Director, Marketing Communications at Comcast
Mona Slomsky began her involvement with ADL in the 2014 Glass Leadership Institute cohort, and has since joined the Associate Board. She initially co-chaired the Advocacy Committee, and is now going into her second year as Co-Chair of the Associate Board. She grew up in Wynnewood, PA, and attended Lower Merion High School. She has a BFA in Drama from NYU and a MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Temple University. She currently resides in Haverford, PA, and works at Comcast, overseeing advertising campaigns for Xfinity residential services. In a previous life, however, she worked in entertainment, casting Broadway, film and television. She has volunteered with a wide variety of organizations, but feels most passionately about animal rescue and the mission of ADL, which these days feels more important than ever. She’s thrilled to join the GLI Advisory Board, and help deepen the relationship that our emerging leaders have with ADL, in an effort to extend that relationship long past the life of GLI.
What are you most looking forward to as a new member of the GLI AAB?
So thrilled to begin a relationship with ADL at the national level, and see the passion of others, who have had similar experiences all across the country.
What do you hope the board (or you as a member of the board) will accomplish and/or help solve within this year?
I hope we find meaningful ways to help the GLI cohorts feel like indispensable members of the ADL community, in an effort to continue their involvement after the close of their Glass class.
