As Vice President of Education, Angie McAllister is focused on increasing the scope, the reach, and the measurable impact of ADL’s Education programs.
Angie joined ADL in late 2020 with more than 25 years of experience as an educator, technology leader, product management leader, and researcher. She has extensive classroom experience —as an elementary and middle school teacher and then as a principal. She has also been an adjunct professor at several colleges and universities. For the past 12 years, Angie has held executive-level positions with education/learning companies and has focused on product development. Most recently, she was SVP Research and Product Development for ACT. Prior to that, she was SVP of Product Management, Personalized Learning, Analytics and Accessibility with Pearson, a global learning company with expertise in educational courseware and assessment, and a range of teaching and learning services powered by technology. Angie holds several patents, including for technology that adapts digital learning experiences to the real-time needs of students.
Angie earned her Ph.D. in educational leadership from Capella University, and her B.S. in elementary and early childhood education from Florida International University.
