As Vice President of Education, Steven Hodas is focused on increasing the scope, reach and measurable impact of ADL’s Education programs.
Steven joined ADL early in 2018 after a 30–year career in education policy and product in the public and private sectors. While at NASA, Steven created the world’s first websites devoted to supporting K-12 teachers. At the New York City Department of Education, he was responsible for millions of dollars in Federal and major foundation grants, developing innovative systems for professional development and teacher support as well as family engagement.
Steven has advised or served as director for numerous foundations, education policy organizations and education and technology startups and is the author of numerous books and articles. He received his BA from Sarah Lawrence College and studied at the University of Washington Graduate School of Education.
