The FBI has collected hate crime data from federal, state and local law enforcement since the enactment of the Hate Crime Statistics Act of 1990. This tool takes that data and creates an interactive map of America that shows selected hate crimes reporting data from the FBI from 2004-2015, as well as the hate crime laws present in all 50 states.
