About the Mini-Lesson

This mini-lesson for administrators, faculty and staff provides an introduction to implicit bias and explores how bias impacts campuses. Participants will learn and develop strategies they can use to create more equitable and inclusive communities.

Objectives

This self-paced mini-lesson will enable you to:

  • Define implicit bias and recognize how it impacts our engagement with others.
  • Understand the science behind bias.
  • Learn how to challenge bias on college and university campuses.
