About the Mini-Course

This mini-course can be used as a professional learning experience to help educators explore best practices in responding to incidents of bias in schools. You will learn how to minimize harm, increase allyship, and create teachable moments when hate based incidents arise in your school community.

Objectives

This self-paced mini-course will enable you to:

  • Identify what is a bias incident.
  • Learn about ADL's P.E.A.C.E. framework.
  • Use the P.E.A.C.E. framework to proactively prepare for and respond to hate and bias-related incidents in school.

Length

25-35 minutes. Move at your own pace, pausing and resuming as needed.
