For example, 100% is often used as an amount or an expression and it is also used by some white supremacists as shorthand for "100% white." Similarly, other symbols in this database may be significant to people who are not extreme or racist. The descriptions here point out significant multiple meanings but may not be able to relay every possible meaning of a particular symbol.

The Universal Aryan Brotherhood (UAB) is a white supremacist prison gang based in the Oklahoma prison system, one of several such gangs that have used "brotherhood" in their title. Despite the gang's name, it has no connection to the original Aryan Brotherhood, which is based in the California and federal prison systems.
The main UAB symbol consists of a circle containing stylized SS lightning bolts in which the two halves of each "S" barely touch each other. Members may also refer to themselves as "Universal Soldiers."
