ADL’s virtual Walk Against Hate took place October 12-18, 2020. This event, national in scope for the first time ever, brought together entire communities from across the country including corporations and non-profits, students and educators, families and all others who wanted to stand up to hate. November 8-19, 2020, thousands of experts, community and business leaders, students and concerned community members took part in Never Is Now, the world's largest annual summit on antisemitism and hate. Delivered virtually in 2020, you can still watch the sessions here to learn about and discuss contemporary drivers of antisemitism and hate and learn how to add your voice to the conversation in combating bias of all kinds.
On December 6, 2020, we presented a special evening of stories and songs celebrating extraordinary people who are fighting hate in their everyday lives. We honored and celebrated the accomplishments of Gerda Weissman Klein, Team Brownsville and Bellen Woodard. The Concert was hosted by Debra Messing with performances (in order of appearance) by: Rafe Pearlman, Ifetayo Ali-Landing, Kenny Loggins, Jason Isbell, Andra Day, Aloe Blacc and Adam Levine, and special appearances by Bebe Neuwirth, George Takei, Bob Costas, Olivia Boisson and others.
