Jewish American Heritage Month
Jewish American Heritage Month, which takes place every year in May, is an annual recognition and celebration of the history, achievements, contributions and culture of Jewish people and the Jewish community in the United States. On April 20, 2006, then-President George W. Bush first proclaimed May as Jewish American Heritage Month. All the U.S. Presidents since then have made annual proclamations to designate the month.
