ADL Statement on U.S. Strikes Against Iranian Regime's Nuclear Sites

New York, NY, June 21, 2025 ... ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) today issued the following statement in response to the U.S. strike on the Iranian regime's nuclear sites.

Jonathan Greenblatt, ADL CEO, issued the following statement:

ADL is closely monitoring President Trump’s announcement of the United States’ strike on the Iranian regime’s nuclear sites.

Since 1979, the Iranian regime has been the largest exporter of antisemitism and terror on the planet. The Iranian regime and its proxies have murdered Jewish people and hundreds of Americans around the world for decades.

The ADL Center on Extremism will continue to monitor extremist responses and potential threats against the Jewish community.

We are engaged with elected officials in Washington DC, and across the country to ensure the safety of the Jewish community is a top priority.

We will also continue to work closely with law enforcement and our communal partners to ensure Jewish communities around the globe are safe.

ADL is the leading anti-hate organization in the world. Founded in 1913, its timeless mission is “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” Today, ADL continues to fight all forms of antisemitism and bias, using innovation and partnerships to drive impact. A global leader in combating antisemitism, countering extremism and battling bigotry wherever and whenever it happens, ADL works to protect democracy and ensure a just and inclusive society for all.
