Echoes & Reflections Launches EchoesConnect, an AI Assistant Built to Support Educators Teaching the Holocaust

New York, NY, September 14, 2026 — Echoes & Reflections, a leading provider of curriculum and professional learning on the Holocaust, today announced the launch of EchoesConnect, an AI Assistant designed to help grade 6-12 educators teach about the Holocaust with confidence, accuracy and ease.

Powered by ADL Ora, the first-of-its-kind AI Assistant for K-12 educators and developed by the Anti-Defamation League, EchoesConnect gives educators instant, individualized support for building lesson plans and navigating one of the most complex and consequential subjects in the classroom.

Unlike general-purpose AI tools, EchoesConnect draws exclusively from a closed knowledge base built on Echoes & Reflections curriculum and the educational resources of its three partner organizations: ADL, USC Shoah Foundation and Yad Vashem. This ensures every response educators receive is rooted in trusted, historically accurate content – free from the bias and misinformation that can appear in open-AI platforms and across the internet.

“Educators want to teach about the Holocaust accurately, but they don't always have the time or resources to feel confident,” said Ariel Behrman, ADL’s Vice President of Education. “EchoesConnect will serve as a partner to teachers, giving them individualized support grounded in trusted, accurate content. It supplements the educator support Echoes & Reflections has provided for more than 20 years, meeting teachers exactly where they are with a tool built for how they work today.”

Echoes & Reflections is a leading provider of curriculum and professional learning on the Holocaust, antisemitism and genocide in the United States, reaching more than 20,000 educators each year through its programming. Its open access resources draw more than 600,000 website visitors annually, reflecting the sustained and growing demand among educators for reliable Holocaust education tools. EchoesConnect builds directly on that trusted foundation, transforming reliable resources into a dynamic, responsive assistant available to educators whenever they need it.

With EchoesConnect, educators can generate individualized lesson plans tailored to their students, grade level and classroom needs. The tool is designed to meet teachers where they are, whether they are preparing their first Holocaust education unit or looking to deepen an existing curriculum, offering support that is both innovative and deeply grounded in historical integrity.

EchoesConnect is now available to educators nationwide. To learn more, visit https://echoesandreflections.org/echoes-connect/
