Your Impact: Four Critical Areas

1. Tracking & Disrupting Antisemitism

Preventing Violence Before It Happens

The Challenge:
With a reported average of 25 anti-Jewish incidents a day in the U.S., Jewish communities are on high alert.

Your Impact:
Supporters like you empower ADL Center on Extremism experts to work around the clock to keep our communities safe. With intelligence tracked and reported to law enforcement, ADL has successfully prevented numerous antisemitic and other extremist plots and attacks and potentially saved lives.

What you fund:

  • 24/7 monitoring of extremist activity
  • Intelligence-sharing with state and local law enforcement
  • Litigation holding perpetrators accountable
  • Advocacy for stronger protections at every level of government

New in 2025: AI Bias Scorecard
ADL launched the Ratings & Assessment Institute (RAI) to examine how antisemitism embeds in systems—including AI. Our new AI Bias Scorecard tracks how large language models reproduce antisemitic and extremist content, expanding our work to reshape the environments that allow antisemitism to persist.

2. Rapid Response To Violence

When Crisis Strikes, ADL Mobilizes

Washington, D.C. - May 2025
A young couple was murdered outside a Jewish museum. The attacker shouted "Free Palestine" during his arrest.

Boulder, Colorado - June 2025
A firebomber attacked a peaceful solidarity event, injuring 15 people. An innocent 82-year-old woman later died from her injuries.

Disturbing reality:  24% of Americans said these attacks against Jews were "understandable."

Your Support Powered Immediate Response:

  • ADL Center on Extremism analysts reviewed suspects' online footprints
  • Intelligence shared with law enforcement and community organizations
  • Staff on the ground provided hands-on support
  • Government officials at all levels mobilized to prevent future incidents

Behind the Scenes: Fighting False Narratives
After the Boulder and D.C. attacks, ADL Center for Technology and Society tracked "false flag" conspiracies surging on Reddit—users falsely claiming Israel staged the attacks. These narratives retraumatize victims, distort understanding and risk seeping into AI training data, further spreading antisemitism. CTS engaged directly with Reddit about their findings, demonstrating how timely research holds social media platforms accountable.

3. Protecting Jewish Students

From Harassment to Policy Change

The Crisis:
From college campuses to K-12 schools, students have faced relentless harassment, vandalism and assaults, making them feel unwelcome and unsafe.

"It has been truly the most horrific year I have ever experienced."
— Jewish college student

Your Support Drove Major Victories

Campus Accountability at Scale

  • 135 colleges and universities evaluated through ADL's Campus Antisemitism Report Card
  • 49% of schools improved their grades after public accountability
  • 50%+ held consultations with ADL to improve policies
  • Universities now know: ADL sets the bar

400,000+ People Mobilized for Advocacy

Thanks to supporters like you, ADL launched the Ronald Birnbaum Center to Combat Antisemitism in Education (CCAE) in October 2024. In the past year:

500+ volunteers participated in lobbying meetings nationwide
53 Senate offices engaged directly
200,000+ people urged Congressional resolutions condemning campus antisemitism
80,000 people requested DOE funding to protect Jewish students

Direct Support for Students

  • Filed legal complaints against school districts, colleges and universities—resulting in significant policy changes
  • Held the nation's largest teachers' union accountable, defeating a boycott of ADL's educational materials
  • Launched free legal assistance for college students, faculty and parents experiencing antisemitism

4. Fighting Online Hate

Holding Tech Platforms Accountable

The Problem:
Many online platforms are failing to enforce their own policies to protect users from antisemitism, hate and extremism. Some have even scaled back efforts, allowing violent hate speech to become normalized.

Real Story:
When a Jewish musical group reported an Instagram comment reading "#killallJews" to Meta, the platform claimed it didn't violate their policies.

After the group tagged ADL, we mobilized our community and social media presence. Within days, Meta acknowledged the violation and removed the account.

Your Support Enables:

  • Monitoring hate speech across major platforms
  • Leveraging our voice to demand accountability
  • Exposing failures to enforce anti-hate policies
  • Tracking how disinformation spreads after attacks

We can't stop there. The normalization of hate is dangerous—and ADL won't let platforms ignore their responsibility.
