ADL and Israel
ADL works to support a secure, Jewish and democratic State of Israel, living in peace and security with its neighbors. We work to educate and engage on the challenges and complexities Israel faces at home and around the globe.
Within Israel, ADL addresses issues of racism, discrimination and hate and promotes social cohesion initiatives across Israel’s diverse communities while educating the Israeli public about the dangers of rising antisemitism. We educate and engage on how harsh expressions about the Jewish state and Zionism can be antisemitic.
Anti-Israel and Anti-Zionist Campaigns
ADL speaks out when anti-Israel rhetoric or activism engages in distortions or delegitimizes Israel, crosses into antisemitism when it demonizes or negates Zionism, and uses anti-Jewish assertions and tropes.
