What Can Holidays Tell Us about Jewish People?
Holidays and observances can provide a window into a group of people—their history, identity and culture. Holidays are special days, usually observed every year, that often include traditions, celebrations and being with others. Jewish holidays can help us learn more about Jewish people and the Jewish experience. Even though there are differences in the way Jewish people celebrate, exploring these holidays can help us learn more about Jewish history, identity traditions, and religious observance.
